Instrumentation Technician

We are a leading manufacturing company in the city of Akron, seeking an experienced Instrumentation Technician to join our team. As an Instrumentation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in our production facilities.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician
- Knowledge of electrical and electronic systems
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial instrumentation
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Proficient in using various testing equipment and tools
- Good communication skills in English

Responsibilities:

- Install, calibrate, test, troubleshoot, and repair various instruments such as flow meters, pressure gauges, temperature sensors, etc.
- Perform preventative maintenance on instrumentation systems to ensure optimal performance
- Identify and resolve issues with control systems to maintain efficient operations
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any equipment malfunctions or failures
- Assist with instrument upgrades or replacements when necessary
- Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth operation of production processes
