Market Merchandiser

We are seeking a talented and driven Market Merchandiser to join our team in Akron. As a Market Merchandiser, you will be responsible for creating and implementing merchandising strategies to increase sales and brand awareness. This role requires strong analytical skills, as well as creativity and an eye for design.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify consumer trends and preferences
- Develop merchandising plans for different markets, taking into account local culture and preferences
- Collaborate with the design team to develop visually appealing displays that showcase our products
- Manage inventory levels and ensure timely restocking of products
- Monitor sales performance and make adjustments to merchandising strategies accordingly
- Negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and availability of products
- Train store employees on proper merchandising techniques and product knowledge
- Maintain visual standards of stores according to company guidelines

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in merchandising or retail management
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior and market trends
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Highly analytical with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Creative with a keen eye for design
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Salary: $1400 per month

Location: Akron, Ohio
