A metal fabrication company in Akron is seeking a skilled Metal Worker to join our team. As a Metal Worker, you will be responsible for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal parts to create various products. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in metalworking and must be able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities:
- Use tools such as saws, drills, grinders, and welders to cut and shape metal parts according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the requirements for each project
- Measure and mark dimensions on metal sheets or bars using measuring tools
- Assemble metal parts together using welding or other techniques such as bolting, riveting, or soldering
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance and make any necessary adjustments or repairs
- Maintain equipment by cleaning and performing regular maintenance tasks

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in metalworking is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in metalworking; experience with different types of metals is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficiency in using tools such as saws, drills, grinders, and welders
- Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials

Salary: $1100 per month
