Sales Representative
We are a growing company based in Nairobi seeking an ambitious and driven Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our products to potential customers. Your main goal will be to increase sales and provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through networking, cold calling and social media
- Present, promote and sell products using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business relationships with current and potential customers
- Reach out to customer leads through various means such as calls, emails, and in-person meetings
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets within specified timeframes
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other events to promote the company's products
- Keep track of sales activities including calls made, follow-ups, closed deals, and potential opportunities
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or complaints from customers
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Sales Representative or similar role in the same industry (preferably 1+ years)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Must be highly motivated with a strong drive for results
- Knowledge of sales principles and techniques
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Must have excellent negotiation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred
