Job Title: Cashier - Bungoma, Kenya


We are seeking a responsible and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team in Bungoma, Kenya. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should have previous cashier experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a friendly attitude and provide exceptional customer service
- Process cash transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer questions and resolve any issues or concerns
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels
- Maintain knowledge of store products, promotions, and policies
- Follow all cash handling procedures to ensure accuracy and security of funds
- Prepare daily reports of transactions and reconcile cash at the end of each shift

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Previous cashier experience preferred
- Strong mathematical skills to handle cash transactions accurately
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Swahili is an added advantage)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail
- Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude

Working Hours:
This is a part-time position with flexible working hours. Weekend availability is preferred.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month.
