Indian Chef
A busy restaurant in Bungoma is seeking an experienced Indian Chef to join our team. We are looking for a talented individual who can bring their passion for authentic Indian cuisine to our kitchen. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience working as an Indian Chef and must be familiar with the diverse range of spices and cooking techniques used in Indian cuisine.

Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a variety of authentic Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori dishes, and breads
- Develop new recipes and menu items that showcase the flavors and traditions of Indian cuisine
- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to our restaurant's standards and presentation guidelines
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper preparation techniques for Indian dishes
- Monitor food inventory levels and place orders for ingredients as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience as an Indian Chef in a professional kitchen setting
- In-depth knowledge of traditional Indian cooking techniques, spices, and ingredients
- Ability to create new and innovative recipes while staying true to the essence of authentic Indian cuisine
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff
- Attention to detail in food preparation, plating, and presentation
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1800 per month.

Location:
This position is located in Bungoma, Kenya. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Kenya.
