Crane Operator


We are seeking a skilled Crane Operator with experience in operating cranes for construction and heavy equipment operations. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in crane operation and hold a valid biometric passport.

Responsibilities:
- Operate cranes to lift, move, position, and place materials and equipment
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the crane to ensure proper functioning
- Read and interpret load charts to determine appropriate crane size and configuration for each job
- Communicate with ground crew using hand signals or radio communication to ensure safe lifting operations
- Inspect rigging equipment and ensure all safety guidelines are followed before each lift
- Keep accurate records of materials lifted, time spent on each job, and any incidents that occur

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Crane Operator
- Valid biometric passport
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to crane operation
- Ability to read load charts and perform basic mathematical calculations
- Strong communication skills
- Physical strength and stamina for long periods of standing, climbing, and working outdoors

Location: Bungoma, Kenya

Salary: $1600 per month

Employment Type: Full-time
