Welder for Contract Work in Bungoma, Kenya



We are looking for a skilled and experienced welder to join our team for a contract job in Bungoma, Kenya. As a welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welds on various metal components as per the project requirements. You must be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements. Additionally, you must have knowledge of different welding techniques and equipment operation.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Prepare materials and set up welding equipment
- Weld components in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead)
- Monitor equipment for proper functioning and report any malfunctions
- Conduct quality inspections on finished products
- Adhere to safety standards and procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a welder
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Knowledge of welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC) and equipment operation
- Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical stamina to work in various positions (standing, crouching, etc.)
- Ability to lift heavy objects
