We are in need of a skilled and experienced Smelter Operator to join our team in Bungoma, Kenya. As a Smelter Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment used in the smelting process. This is a contract position with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities:
- Operate smelting equipment such as furnaces, converters, and casting machines.
- Monitor and adjust temperature, pressure, and feed rates to ensure proper smelting process.
- Inspect equipment for any malfunctions or abnormalities.
- Maintain accurate records of production and quality control measures.
- Troubleshoot issues that may arise during the smelting process.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working as a Smelter Operator or in a similar role.
- Understanding of smelting processes and equipment.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot smelting equipment effectively.
- Physical stamina to work long hours in hot environments.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of $1600 per month.

Location:
This job is based in Bungoma, Kenya.

Preference:
Preference will be given to Indian candidates who have experience working in similar roles. However, all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.

Language Requirements:
No specific language requirements are necessary for this position. However, knowledge of English would be an asset.

Note:
This job involves working with biometric passports. Training will be provided on handling these documents.
