Milling Machine Operator

We are currently hiring a skilled Milling Machine Operator to join our team in Bungoma, Kenya. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating milling machines to produce precision parts and components. The ideal candidate will have experience with operating milling machines and a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate milling machines according to specifications
- Read blueprints or job orders to determine product specifications and tooling instructions
- Adjust machine controls to regulate factors such as cutting depth, speed, feed, and coolant flow
- Monitor machine operation and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality output
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and conformance to specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Troubleshoot issues with machines or products as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
- At least 2 years of experience operating milling machines
- Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- Detail-oriented with a focus on producing high-quality work

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1400 per month.

Contract:
This is a contract job with the potential for permanent employment based on performance.

Location:
This position is located in Bungoma, Kenya. Kenyan citizens are preferred but candidates from other countries will also be considered.
