Collections Specialist
Location: Bungoma, Kenya


We are seeking a detail-oriented Collections Specialist to join our team in Bungoma, Kenya. As a Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding payments from customers. This is a full-time position with accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Contact customers via phone, email or mail for payment follow-up
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collections activities
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to ensure timely payment
- Review and analyze customer accounts to identify potential collection issues
- Negotiate payment arrangements with customers who are unable to pay in full
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues related to collections
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any billing or payment discrepancies
- Prepare and present reports on collections activities and progress

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Collections Specialist or similar role, preferably in the financial sector
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic accounting software applications
- Familiarity with debt collection laws and regulations is a plus

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1500 per month.
