Our busy restaurant in Nakuru is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in the food and beverage industry and possess exceptional leadership, communication, and customer service skills. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's daily operations, including managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining high levels of quality and cleanliness. You will also be responsible for creating and implementing strategies to increase sales, control costs, and improve overall efficiency.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the restaurant's daily operations
- Manage staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by responding promptly to complaints and addressing any issues that may arise
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and control costs
- Maintain high levels of food quality, cleanliness, and safety standards
- Create schedules that optimize staffing levels while controlling labor costs
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to ensure adequate supply
- Conduct regular meetings with staff to discuss goals, provide feedback, and address any concerns or issues
- Handle administrative duties such as payroll processing, budgeting, and creating reports

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience managing a restaurant or similar establishment
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends
- Must have legal authorization to work in Nakuru
