Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee all aspects of our construction projects in Nakuru, Kenya. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgeting, coordinating with contractors and subcontractors, and ensuring the successful completion of each project.

Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans and schedules, including budgeting and resource allocation
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project specifications are met
- Manage project timelines and communicate progress to stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise
- Maintain accurate records of project expenses and make adjustments as needed
- Provide regular updates to senior management on project status and any potential risks or delays
- Oversee the hiring of subcontractors and negotiate contracts for their services
- Ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule while maintaining high-quality standards

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Construction Manager
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques, building codes, safety regulations
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with various stakeholders
- Experience managing budgets and ability to make cost-effective decisions
- Understanding of contract management principles

Salary: $1400 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Nakuru, Kenya (Canadian nationals preferred)

Employment Type: Contract (with possibility for extension)
