Office Assistant for Indian Company in Nakuru
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Office Assistant to join our Indian company in Nakuru. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our team and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors, answer phone calls, and respond to emails
- Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock levels and ordering supplies as needed
- Organize and schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements
- Manage office filing system and ensure all documents are properly stored
- Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Keep track of office expenses and assist with budget management
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing, processing payments, and reconciling accounts
- Support other team members with various tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration or relevant field is a plus
- Proven experience as an Office Assistant or in a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
