Pastry Chef
We are a high-end restaurant located in Nakuru, seeking an experienced and creative Pastry Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience working as a Pastry Chef in a fine dining establishment. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing our dessert menu, developing new pastry recipes, and managing our pastry team. You must have a strong knowledge of different pastry techniques and be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. The salary for this position is $1800 per month.
As a successful candidate, you should have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. You should also have strong leadership skills and be able to train and mentor junior pastry chefs. A passion for creating unique and delicious desserts is essential for this role. Fluency in English is preferred but not required.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or related field
- Strong knowledge of different pastry techniques
- Creativity and ability to develop new pastry recipes
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
