Puncher Supervisor


As a Puncher Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising a team of punchers in the production of high-quality metal parts. Your primary role will be to ensure that all punching operations are carried out efficiently and accurately, while adhering to safety and quality standards. You will also be responsible for training and mentoring new punchers, monitoring production schedules, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of punchers in the production of metal parts
- Ensure all punching operations are carried out efficiently and accurately
- Train and mentor new punchers
- Monitor production schedules to ensure timely completion of orders
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the punching process
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety procedures
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications
- Maintain inventory levels of materials and supplies needed for punching operations
- Communicate with other departments to coordinate workflow and resolve any issues
- Continuously look for ways to improve processes and increase efficiency

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a puncher or in a similar role
- Experience in supervising a team is preferred
- Strong knowledge of metalworking processes, including punching, cutting, bending, etc.
- Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
-Must be able to work well under pressure
-Must be physically fit as this job involves standing for long periods of time

Salary: $1700 per month

Location: Nakuru, Kenya
