Smelter Technician



We are in need of a skilled Smelter Technician to join our team in Nakuru. As a Smelter Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our smelting equipment to process raw materials into metal products. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Operate smelting equipment such as furnaces, crucibles, and casting machines
- Monitor temperatures, pressures, and flow rates to ensure efficient production
- Inspect equipment for any malfunctions and perform routine maintenance as needed
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during production
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Smelter Technician or similar role
- Knowledge of smelting processes and equipment
- Ability to read technical drawings and understand technical documents
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Must be physically fit as the role may involve heavy lifting and standing for long periods of time

This is a full-time position with a salary of $1000 per month. We welcome candidates from India who are fluent in English. This is not a live-in position, so suitable accommodation must be arranged by the candidate. We can only consider candidates who hold their own valid work visa for Kenya.
