Power Engineer - Nakuru, Kenya


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power Engineer to join our team in Nakuru, Kenya. As a Power Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining power systems and equipment. Your role will involve conducting feasibility studies, designing electrical systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop power systems for various projects
- Conduct feasibility studies and analyze data to determine the most efficient system design
- Prepare detailed technical drawings using specialized software
- Troubleshoot issues with power systems and equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Collaborate with other engineers and professionals to develop solutions for complex problems
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in power engineering technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Power Engineer
- Strong understanding of electrical principles, codes, and standards
- Proficiency in using specialized software for designing electrical systems (e.g. AutoCAD)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills

Salary: $1300 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Contract Type: Full-time contract position (with possibility of extension)
