Contract Slinger for Construction Site in Nakuru, Kenya


We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Contract Slinger to join our construction team in Nakuru, Kenya. As a Slinger, you will be responsible for signaling and directing the crane operator to safely move and position heavy construction materials. This is a contract position with a salary of 1800$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Signal and direct the crane operator using hand signals, radio communication or other designated methods.
- Inspect rigging equipment and ensure proper set up before each lift.
- Attach, detach and secure loads to the crane using appropriate rigging techniques.
- Communicate with ground crew to ensure safe positioning of materials.
- Monitor crane movements and adjust signals as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations on the construction site.

Requirements:
- Indian nationality preferred.
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal).
- Ability to work on a contract basis.
- No previous experience required but experience in construction or rigging is an asset.
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions.
