Shaper - Construction and Woodworking Specialist
Location: Nakuru, Kenya


We are in search of a skilled Shaper to join our team in Nakuru. As a Shaper, you will be responsible for shaping and forming wood and other materials to create high-quality products such as furniture, cabinets, and other structures. You will use various tools and techniques to shape materials according to specifications and design plans.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret design plans and blueprints to determine shaping requirements
- Select appropriate materials for shaping based on project specifications
- Use various hand and power tools such as saws, sanders, routers, and planers to shape materials
- Operate machinery such as lathes, shapers, and milling machines to shape materials
- Follow safety protocols while working with tools and machinery
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance before final assembly or installation

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Shaper or similar role in construction or woodworking industry
- Ability to read and interpret design plans and blueprints accurately
- Proficient in using hand and power tools for shaping materials
- Experience operating woodworking machinery such as lathes, shapers, or milling machines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality finished products
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods of time while using tools
- Experience working with various types of wood preferred

Salary: 1300$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
