Milling Machine Operator

A milling machine operator is responsible for setting up and operating a milling machine to produce precision parts. They must have a good understanding of engineering drawings and be able to use measuring tools to ensure accuracy. The ideal candidate will have experience with operating milling machines and must be detail-oriented with good manual dexterity.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate milling machines to produce parts according to engineering drawings
- Select appropriate tools, speeds, and feeds for each job
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and make adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the production process
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience operating milling machines preferred
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications
- Excellent measurement skills using tools such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Detail-oriented with good manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Must be physically able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds

Salary: $1700 per month

Location: Nakuru, Kenya (Preference for Indian nationals)

Type: Contract (6 months)
