Mechanic Technician

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic Technician to join our team in Nakuru. As a Mechanic Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are in safe and working condition. This is a contract job with a salary of 1500$. English speaking candidates from any nationality are welcome to apply. Accommodation and visa sponsorship will be provided for non-residents.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles and equipment.
- Identify and diagnose mechanical issues, troubleshoot and repair as needed.
- Conduct regular service checks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake adjustments.
- Keep detailed records of all repairs and maintenance performed.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working on vehicles or equipment.
- Communicate with clients to understand their concerns and provide appropriate solutions.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient in English with good communication skills.
- Prior experience working as a mechanic or similar role is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with various tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices used in vehicle repair.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects.
