Body Repair Master Technician
The Body Repair Master Technician will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicle bodies to their original condition. They will use a variety of tools and techniques to repair dents, scratches, and other damages on vehicles. This role requires in-depth knowledge of automotive repair techniques, experience with various types of body repair equipment, and excellent attention to detail. The ideal candidate should also have strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect damaged vehicles and assess the extent of damage
- Determine the best course of action for repairs
- Repair dents, scratches, and other damages using appropriate tools and techniques
- Replace damaged parts when necessary
- Sand, prime, and paint repaired areas to match the rest of the vehicle
- Communicate with customers about repairs and provide updates on progress
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols while handling equipment and working on vehicles
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in automotive repair preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in body repair work, preferably in a dealership or auto body shop setting
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques and tools
- Familiarity with different types of body repair equipment such as dent pullers, sanders, paint guns, etc.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality repairs
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
Location: Nakuru
Salary: $1500 per month
Type: Part-time (may lead to full-time)
