Milling Machine Operator


We are in need of a skilled Milling Machine Operator to join our team in Nakuru. As a Milling Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating milling machines to produce precision parts. This position requires experience in operating CNC or manual milling machines, as well as knowledge of measuring tools and reading blueprints.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate milling machines to perform various machining operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering specifications
- Use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy of finished products
- Monitor machine operation and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating CNC or manual milling machines
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards
- Knowledge of metalworking processes and materials preferred
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods of time, lifting heavy materials, and operating machinery
- Accommodation can be provided if needed
