Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable and receivable
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and other financial transactions
- Prepare tax returns and assist with audit preparations
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Stay updated on relevant accounting regulations and industry trends

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks) and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal)
- Prior experience working with Indian clients or companies is preferred but not required
