Nurse for Indian Community in Mombasa
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate nurse to join our team and provide healthcare services to the Indian community in Mombasa. As a nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patients' health conditions, administering medications, and providing treatments. You will also educate patients and their families on how to manage their health conditions and promote healthy lifestyle choices. This position is suitable for individuals who are looking for jobs without requiring fluency in English or accommodation. It is also ideal for students who are looking for part-time or flexible work schedules.
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in nursing from a recognized institution
- Valid nursing license from the Nursing Council of Kenya
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a nurse, preferably in a hospital or clinic setting
- Ability to communicate effectively with Indian patients and their families, knowledge of Hindi or Gujarati is an added advantage
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical procedures and protocols
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach towards healthcare delivery
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine check-ups on patients' health status and monitor their vital signs
- Administer medications as prescribed by doctors and ensure proper documentation of all medications given
- Provide treatments such as wound care, IV therapy, and vaccinations as directed by doctors
- Educate patients on self-care techniques and healthy lifestyle choices to improve their overall well-being
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans for patients
- Maintain accurate patient records and update them regularly according to established protocols
Salary: 1200$ per month (negotiable based on qualifications and experience)
Location: Mombasa (candidates residing nearby preferred)
