Electrician vacancy in Mombasa Kenya

Electrician

We are in need of an experienced and skilled Electrician to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment in commercial and residential buildings. This is a contract position with a salary of 1500$ per month, with accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Inspect electrical systems and equipment to identify any issues or malfunctions
- Install and maintain wiring, lighting fixtures, switches, outlets and other electrical components
- Diagnose and repair electrical problems using appropriate tools and techniques
- Test electrical systems to ensure they are functioning properly
- Follow safety protocols when working with electricity to avoid accidents or injuries
- Keep detailed records of all work performed and materials used
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in a commercial or residential setting
- Knowledge of electrical codes, standards and safety procedures
- Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Good physical condition with the ability to work at heights or in confined spaces if necessary
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

This is an urgent position that requires a reliable individual who is able to work independently as well as part of a team. Fluency in English is required. Kenyan nationals are preferred for this role.
