Carpenter - Mombasa, Kenya

We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing and installing various structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials. You must have previous experience working as a Carpenter and be able to read blueprints and follow building plans.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut materials according to specifications
- Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes
- Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim
- Repair or replace damaged or rotting wood
- Follow safety procedures while working with tools and equipment
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Carpenter
- Ability to read blueprints and follow building plans accurately
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Strong knowledge of different types of wood and their characteristics
- Physically fit to handle the demands of the job
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Indian nationality preferred

Salary: $1500 per month
