Smelter Operator

We are currently seeking a skilled Smelter Operator to join our team in Mombasa. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a smelting facility and be able to operate equipment and machinery used in the smelting process. This is a physically demanding job that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate smelting equipment such as furnaces, crushers, and conveyors
- Monitor and adjust temperature, pressure, and flow controls
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues that may arise
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Keep detailed records of production output and quality control measures

Requirements:
- Must have previous experience working in a smelting facility
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and equipment
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
- Attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures accurately
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of safety regulations for working with hazardous materials

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1800 per month.

This position is located in Mombasa, Kenya.
