Power Engineer for Solar Energy Systems in Mombasa, Kenya

We are seeking a skilled Power Engineer to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya. As a Power Engineer for Solar Energy Systems, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining solar energy systems for residential and commercial buildings. This role requires experience in the field of solar energy and a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and engineer solar energy systems based on client requirements and site assessments
- Install solar panels, inverters, batteries, and other components according to industry standards
- Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of existing solar energy systems
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in solar energy technology
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure successful project completion

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with solar energy systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software programs
- Knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on commercial-scale solar projects
- Certification as a Professional Engineer (PE)
- Knowledge of renewable energy policies and incentives in Kenya
