Slinger - Urgent Contract Position in Mombasa, Kenya


We are looking for a skilled and reliable Slinger to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya on an urgent contract basis. As a Slinger, you will be responsible for moving and positioning heavy objects on job sites using cranes or other lifting equipment. Responsibilities:
- Work closely with crane operators to ensure safe and efficient movement of materials
- Use hand signals and/or radios to communicate with crane operators
- Inspect rigging equipment before use to ensure safety
- Attach and detach loads from cranes or other lifting equipment
- Calculate load weights and determine safe lifting capacities
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed at all times
- Keep work area clean and organized

Requirements:
- Indian nationality preferred (but not required)
- Previous experience as a Slinger or in the construction industry is a plus
- Must be able to work without supervision, following instructions carefully
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints is an asset
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
- Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Willingness to work on a contract basis with no prior experience necessary

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1400 per month.
