Indian Collector in Mombasa, Kenya


We are hiring a dedicated and detail-oriented Indian Collector to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya. As a Collector, you will be responsible for contacting individuals and businesses to collect outstanding debts or payments. Your main goal will be to maintain positive relationships with clients while ensuring timely and complete payment of all debts.

Responsibilities:
- Contact clients via phone calls, emails or letters to remind them of their outstanding debts or payments
- Negotiate payment plans and deadlines with clients who are unable to pay in full
- Maintain accurate records of all communication with clients regarding their debts
- Follow up on overdue accounts and escalate any issues to the appropriate department
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from clients regarding their debts
- Collaborate with legal team when necessary for more complex cases
- Keep track of all payments received and update account information accordingly
- Follow company policies and procedures while adhering to local laws and regulations related to debt collection

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Collector or similar role
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Good knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to debt collection in Kenya
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients while enforcing payment deadlines
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficient in using computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1000$ per month.

Location:
This position is located in Mombasa, Kenya. Accommodation will be provided for the selected candidate if needed.
