Senior Accountant



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team in Eldoret. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our company and ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of all transactions
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes
- Monitor expenses and identify areas for cost reduction
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with accounting principles
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management for decision making
- Train and supervise junior accounting staff

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting or related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
- Proficient in financial software systems, such as Quickbooks or SAP
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $1100 per month. This position does not include accommodation but may offer assistance in obtaining an own visa for non-Kenyan applicants. We welcome applicants of all nationalities who are fluent in English.
