Dietitian Consultant


A well-established healthcare facility in Eldoret is seeking a skilled and qualified Dietitian Consultant to join our dynamic team. As a Dietitian Consultant, you will be responsible for providing nutrition counseling and education to patients with the goal of promoting healthy eating habits and managing various health conditions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nutrition, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct nutrition assessments and develop personalized meal plans based on individual needs and goals.
- Educate patients on proper nutrition and provide guidance on making healthy food choices.
- Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their meal plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution.
- Must be a registered dietitian with the Kenya Nutritionists & Dietitians Institute (KNDI).
- Previous experience in clinical or community nutrition preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Salary: 1500$ per month
Location: Eldoret, Kenya
