Construction Site Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Manager to oversee our projects in Eldoret. As the Construction Site Manager, you will be responsible for organizing, coordinating, and supervising all aspects of the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage construction projects from start to finish
- Prepare project schedules and ensure timely completion
- Oversee budgeting, cost control, and procurement of materials
- Hire and manage subcontractors and construction workers
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements
- Communicate with clients to provide updates on project progress
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work
- Keep accurate records of all project activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Proven experience as a Construction Site Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings
- Effective communication and leadership abilities
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality control
Salary: $1300 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Eldoret (accommodation provided)
Contract type: Full-time
Visa requirements: Must have a valid biometric passport for work authorization in Kenya.
Note: This job is open to both local candidates as well as foreigners who are fluent in English. Prior experience in the construction industry is preferred but not required. This is a great opportunity for freshers looking to gain experience in the field.
