We are seeking a reliable and organized Office Assistant to join our team in Eldoret, Kenya. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day administrative tasks and ensuring the smooth running of the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors, answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate person
- Maintain office supplies and inventory levels
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages
- Organize and schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for staff
- Assist with data entry, filing, and record keeping
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks such as invoice processing and expense tracking
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- 1+ years of experience in an administrative role preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Working Hours:
This is a full-time position with working hours from Monday-Friday (9am - 5pm).
Salary:
The salary for this position is $1600 per month.
