We are seeking a skilled and experienced Surveyor to join our team in Eldoret. As a Surveyor, you will be responsible for performing land surveys and creating detailed maps and plans for construction, engineering, and other projects. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in surveying, strong technical skills, and the ability to work independently. This position requires someone with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in using surveying equipment and software.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys to determine boundaries, topography, and other features
- Use specialized equipment such as GPS receivers, electronic distance measuring tools, and total stations to collect data
- Analyze data to create accurate maps and plans
- Prepare reports and present findings to clients or project managers
- Collaborate with engineers and construction teams to assist with project planning and design
- Maintain accurate records of survey data for future reference
- Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards while conducting surveys

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Surveying or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surveyor
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, etc.
- Strong technical skills including data analysis and map-making software
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards related to surveying
