Land Surveyor Assistant

We are seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Land Surveyor Assistant to join our team in Eldoret. As a Land Surveyor Assistant, you will assist the lead surveyor in collecting and analyzing data to determine the precise location and measurements of land and other features. Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead surveyor in conducting field surveys using various equipment such as GPS, total stations, and levels
- Help with setting up and maintaining survey control points
- Collect and record accurate data on land features, boundaries, and structures
- Assist with drafting maps, plans, and reports based on survey data
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure project deadlines are met
- Follow safety protocols at all times while working on site

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required; degree in Geomatics or related field preferred
- Prior experience as a land surveyor assistant is a plus but not required
- Basic knowledge of surveying equipment and techniques
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain
- Physically fit and able to walk long distances while carrying equipment
- Strong attention to detail and good mathematical skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
