Entry-Level Mason in Eldoret, Kenya (Indian nationals preferred)


We are a construction company based in Eldoret and we are currently looking for an Entry-Level Mason to join our team. As a Mason, you will be responsible for building and repairing structures using various materials such as brick, concrete, and stone. This is a great opportunity for an Indian national who is looking to start their career in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:
- Lay bricks or other types of masonry units to build walls, arches, fireplaces, chimneys and other structures
- Mix and apply mortar or other adhesives to secure masonry units in place
- Cut or shape bricks, concrete blocks or stones according to specifications
- Use hand or power tools such as hammers, saws, and chisels to shape or smooth surfaces of masonry units
- Repair cracked or damaged masonry surfaces
- Follow blueprints or plans to ensure accuracy and quality of work
- Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines when working on construction sites

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience as a Mason is preferred but not required
- Basic understanding of construction principles and techniques
- Ability to use hand and power tools effectively
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials when needed
- Willingness to learn and work in a team environment

Salary:
This is an entry-level position with a salary of $1700 per month. We also offer opportunities for growth within the company.

Location:
This job is located in Eldoret, Kenya. Accommodation will not be provided but we can assist with finding suitable housing options if needed.

Visa Requirements:
The candidate must have their own valid visa for Kenya.
