Hotel Sales Manager

Our luxury hotel in Mombasa is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team. As the Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase revenue and occupancy rates. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and other key partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase revenue and occupancy rates
- Identify new business opportunities and actively pursue them through cold calls, networking events, and other channels
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, event planners, and other key partners
- Conduct site visits, negotiate contracts, and handle all aspects of the sales process
- Collaborate with the Revenue Management team to develop pricing strategies that maximize revenue
- Provide regular reports on sales performance and market trends to senior management
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to promote the hotel
- Ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times by yourself and your team

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or relevant field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel sales or related field
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
- Knowledge of revenue management principles
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluent in English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus)
- Indian nationality preferred
