Hotel Sales Manager in Mombasa, Kenya
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya. As the Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales and marketing efforts of our hotel to drive revenue and increase bookings.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to attract new guests and maintain relationships with existing clients
- Identify potential business opportunities and establish partnerships with local companies, travel agencies, and event planners
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences
- Create and present sales proposals to potential clients, negotiate contracts, and close deals
- Collaborate with other departments such as reservations, marketing, and operations to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Monitor sales performance through regular reporting and analysis, make necessary adjustments to meet targets
- Train and manage the sales team to achieve goals effectively
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel sales or a similar role
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills
- Strong understanding of the local market trends and customer needs
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English (Swahili is a plus)
