Contract Collector for English Speaking Indians in Eldoret, Kenya


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Contract Collector to join our team in Eldoret, Kenya. This is a contract position specifically suited for English speaking Indians living in the city. As a collector, you will be responsible for managing and collecting payments from clients on behalf of our company.

Responsibilities:
- Contact clients to inform them of their outstanding balances and negotiate payment plans
- Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments and take appropriate actions
- Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and communications with clients
- Prepare and send invoices, receipts, and statements to clients
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve payment discrepancies or issues
- Follow up on delinquent accounts through phone calls, emails or letters as necessary
- Provide regular updates on collection activities to management

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a collector or similar role
- Excellent communication skills in English with the ability to negotiate effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle large amounts of data accurately
- Good understanding of debt collection laws and practices
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
- Indian nationality preferred

Salary:
The salary for this contract position is 1700$ per month.
