Floral Designer



We are seeking a creative and passionate Floral Designer to join our team in Malindi. As a Floral Designer, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements for a variety of occasions, including weddings, events, and everyday purchases. Your main duties will include sourcing and selecting flowers, designing arrangements according to client preferences, and maintaining the overall appearance of our shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. This is a contract position with the potential for growth within our company. Candidates with prior experience in floral design or related fields will be preferred. Accommodation is not provided, so candidates must have their own accommodation in Malindi. Biometric passport is required for employment eligibility.

Responsibilities:
- Source and select high-quality flowers based on availability and client requests
- Design and create various floral arrangements for weddings, events, and everyday purchases
- Ensure timely delivery of orders to clients
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shop
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and needs
- Keep up-to-date with current trends in floral design
- Work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in floral design or related field preferred
- Knowledge of different types of flowers, foliage, and plants
- Strong eye for detail and creativity
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 25lbs)
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written)
- Must have own accommodation in Malindi
- Biometric passport required for employment eligibility

Salary: $1000 per month (based on experience)

Location: Malindi (candidates from all nationalities welcome)
