Restaurant Manager - Indian Cuisine

As a Restaurant Manager for our Indian cuisine restaurant in Malindi, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations. This includes managing the staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining high-quality standards for food and service. You must have a deep understanding of Indian cuisine and culture, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Hire, train, schedule and manage staff to ensure efficient operation of the restaurant
- Oversee food preparation and ensure quality control of all dishes
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Create and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for customers
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Work closely with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and specials
- Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of ingredients
- Create schedules that meet both business needs and employee availability
- Monitor financial performance of the restaurant and make necessary adjustments to budgets

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Restaurant Manager in an Indian cuisine establishment
- Excellent knowledge of Indian cuisine, including regional variations in flavors and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Proven track record in meeting sales targets and increasing revenue
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Salary: $1000 per month
