Experienced Barista


We are seeking an experienced Barista to join our team in Malindi, a beautiful coastal city in Kenya. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating delicious and high-quality coffee beverages for our customers. Your role will also involve maintaining a clean and organized work environment, providing excellent customer service, and managing inventory and supplies. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Barista, outstanding customer service skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about coffee and looking to join a dynamic team.

Salary: $1200 per month

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Barista
- Excellent knowledge of coffee brewing techniques
- Knowledge of various types of coffee beans and their characteristics
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages according to customer requests
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, etc. and communicate any shortages to management
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly manner and addressing any concerns or complaints promptly
- Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Assist with training new baristas as needed
