Construction Manager - Malindi, Kenya

We are searching for an experienced and dedicated Construction Manager to oversee our construction projects in the coastal city of Malindi in Kenya. As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing all aspects of the construction process from start to finish. This includes supervising and coordinating the work of contractors, ensuring project timelines are met, and maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans and schedules, including resource allocation and budget management
- Oversee daily operations on construction sites to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety regulations
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project progress
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are met and address any issues that arise
- Manage project budgets and track expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness
- Hire, train, and supervise construction workers and subcontractors
- Ensure projects are completed within agreed upon timelines and budget constraints
- Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in construction technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Construction Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team of workers
- Proficiency in budget management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluent in English (additional language skills in Hindi preferred)
- Willingness to relocate to Malindi with provided accommodation
