We are in need of an experienced Welder to join our team in Malindi, Kenya. As a Welder, you will be responsible for using specialized equipment to join metal parts together, following blueprints or project specifications. This position requires a high level of skill and precision in order to produce quality welds that meet industry standards.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints or project specifications to determine welding requirements
- Operate welding equipment such as gas torches, plasma cutters, and electric arc welders
- Clean and prepare metal surfaces for welding by removing dirt, rust, and debris
- Set up and adjust welding equipment settings according to material type and thickness
- Position and clamp metal pieces together for welding
- Use various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding to join metal pieces together
- Monitor the welding process to ensure quality and consistency
- Inspect completed welds for defects or imperfections
- Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment as needed

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Welder in a professional setting
- Proven experience with various types of welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or project specifications
- Knowledge of different types of metals and their properties
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce quality welds consistently
- Physical stamina and strength to work in various positions while standing for extended periods of time
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1700$ per month.
