Office Assistant - Malindi
We are seeking a reliable and organized Office Assistant to join our team in Malindi. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth functioning of our office. This is a contract position with a salary of 1600$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to appropriate individuals
- Maintain office supplies and equipment inventory
- Organize and schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for staff
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, letters, faxes, and forms
- File and maintain documents both physically and electronically
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing, tracking expenses, and processing payments
- Perform general office duties such as photocopying, scanning, faxing, etc.
- Ensure the office is clean and well-maintained at all times
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred but not required
