Caregiver for Senior Citizens


We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Caregiver to provide quality care to senior citizens in Malindi. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working with elderly individuals, preferably in a home care or assisted living setting.

Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical or mental condition
- Create a safe and comfortable environment for the client
- Engage in meaningful activities with the client to promote socialization and mental stimulation
- Keep accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to the supervisor
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals involved in the client's care

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a caregiver, preferably with seniors
- Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR is preferred
- Ability to work independently and handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols
- Must have a caring, patient, and empathetic attitude towards elderly individuals
