Office Administrator
We are currently seeking a highly organized and efficient Office Administrator to join our team in Malindi, Kenya. As an Office Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our office, providing administrative support to our team, and ensuring the smooth running of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person/department
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely manner
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing, and organizing documents
- Maintain office supplies and place orders when necessary
- Schedule appointments and meetings for staff members
- Keep track of staff attendance and manage leave requests
- Assist with basic accounting tasks such as invoicing and data entry
- Maintain electronic and physical filing systems
- Handle basic HR tasks such as onboarding new employees and updating employee records
- Coordinate travel arrangements for staff members when needed
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as an Office Administrator or similar role
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to multitask and handle various responsibilities at once
- Kenyan nationality preferred
- Part-time availability with willingness to work flexible hours
Salary: $1100 per month (with possibility for increase based on performance)
